SENIOR BACKEND DEVELOPER

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our applications. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solution
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design, develop, test, and maintain server-side applications and APIs.
· Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
· Integrate user-facing elements developed by frontend developers with server-side logic.
· Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
· Develop and maintain database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
· Implement security and data protection best practices.
· Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
· Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.
· Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
· Degree in Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 3 years of working experience
· SKILLS & ABILITIES
· Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
· Proficiency in NestJs framework.
· Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
· Experience building and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
· Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
· Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
· Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
· Experience working in an Agile development environment.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
